This Client is a serious joke. Even after the most recent Update. I have been using ABP in Safari and it works ok in most cases. Until lately. In Safari on YT, I still have to click the Skip Ads Button and YT is still able to post little annoying Ads at the bottom of the Video Window. But AdBlock won't even let me look at a YT Video, so it's worthless. Does anyone have a recommendation for a decent Ad Blocker for Safari?

I tried the latest AdBlock, 1.24.0, and very strangely, it won’t even allow me to watch Videos on YouTube. So I went back to ABP. I'm on a 2010 Mac Pro in Mojave.

I'm still very confused as to why AdBlock changed their Version Numbers from Version: 2.36.2 to 1.24.0. Very Odd. I've been using ABP (Adblock Plus - STILL not listed here for some reason) for a while now because I was having problems lotsa with AdBlock. Recently I updated ABP and now on YouTube I’m constantly getting a little Notice before it Blocks an Ad asking me if I really wanna block it. The bloodsuckers at ABP obviously made a deal with YT and ABP is WORTHLESS now. So, I’m back to AdBlock. I just installed the newest version and hopefully they haven’t made a deal with YouTube too.

When I upgraded Safari security features, for some reason Ad Block Plus was removed. So I installed Ad Block. Unfortunately, Ad Block (NOT to be confused with Ad Block Plus) did NOT block a single ad. When I installed it dozens of ads immediately came thru. :( Fortunately, after I then reinstalled the new Ad Block Plus it worked well. Though, I miss the old ABP feature of showing you in red fast increasing numbers, how many ads it was removing. The new doesn't do this, though it does seem to take them out.

This doesn't do anything. There is the same if not more ads than before I downloaded it. Also I found this in the app preferences: Can read sensitive information from including passwords, phone numbers and credit cards on: ALL WEBPAGES
